Onam at PromptTech
Onam, Kerala’s cultural festival celebrates the homecoming of their mythical and beloved ruler, King Mahabali. It is the remembrance of his good governance and his selfless generosity for the people of Kerala. Employees at PromptTech left no stones unturned to seize the day to its fullest. A fun-filled day was organised at the Indian office of PromptTech. Our employees were all decked up in the traditional saree and mundu. The day began with the setting of a flower carpet followed by percussion using Chenda, onam games, team photos and a plethora of other fun activities. But the highlight of it all was the sumptuous sadhya, the traditional kerala feast and the tug of war contested against teams within the organisation. The team spirit and sportsmanship of our employees were admirable. All’s well that ends well. Thus, an eventful day at PromptTech came to an end

Core Algorithm Update
Announced by Google for
September 2022
A core algorithm change is set to roll out, indicating changes to search results.
Google, in its official list of announced updates has stated that a core algorithm change is to be expected and will take upto two weeks to roll out completely. This time the changes are large enough to be felt by search marketers and publishers.
The update was officially announced through Google Search Central’s twitter account
“Today we released the September 2022 core update. We’ll update our ranking release history page when the rollout is complete”
Although changes occur all the time, a core algorithm change amends various parts of Google’s algorithm making the changes more evident for users. There has been no information provided as to what changes are to be expected in terms of search results around the world. There are various speculations doing rounds assuming what the changes could be. But at present the right approach would be to keep a close eye on the update and wait for it all to settle before coming to a conclusion.
